solo performance by Miet Warlop

Miet Warlop has been pursuing visual experiments in stage form. Dragging the Bone is an attempted exegesis of her work and herself in a language created before the audience’s very eyes. Addressing concepts such as ambition, enthusiasm and determination, this new creation merges the immaterial processes of the work into a « sculptural event”. Dragging the Bone, whose title refers to an Etruscan object in bronze with divinatory properties, stages a narrative, a life that becomes petrified, as though under Medusa’s gaze.
